*CREATIVITY HAVEN is intended as a group for CREATIVE WRITING (stories, rpgs, poems etc..). Sets should be reflective of mood boards, world building, character clothing and art sets that are related to YOUR WRITING. FANDOM SETS (no matter how awesome) are not acceptable, unless they are for a RPG or Fanfic. There are plenty of groups for fandom, random fashion etc.. so we're aiming to keep this space for sharing sets related to the imaginative world of writers.

📖 History & Mystery

📖 History & Mystery

PLEASE READ! This is a MODERATED NON-fiction group for history buffs and mythology enthusiasts to share ART sets based on specific historical, legendary and mythical figures and events.

I DO remove sets that do not fit, and members who repeatedly disrespect the stated brief.

Sets on subjects such as gods, pagan rites, acts of heroism, traditional fairy tales, and royalty either real or legendary, are encouraged. If they are not historically verified, then at least they were believed in as having been real at some time, eg. Melusine who is depicted in the group's icon, or Ragnar Lothbrok. If in doubt, look at past contests to guide you.

Acceptable history based fandoms include Vikings, Borgias, The White Queen, the Tudors, Wolf Hall, Outlander, The Crown, Victoria and anything that makes an attempt at authenticity in at least one area: story, costumes, or sets.

This group is NOT for:
- fictional fandoms (e.g. LOTR, Avengers, Wuthering Heights),
- contemporary fashion sets
- fundamental reimaginings of historical or mythological figures, e.g. gender swap sets
- Unspecified romantic new age art, e.g. aliens.
-no advertising of your group, or contest.

There are plenty of other groups where these sets are wanted.

I would like to keep this a Disneyfication free space. 'Disneyfication' definition here http://design.walkerart.org/worldsaway/Terms/Disneyfication

Feel free to contact me if you want clarification or if there's a new series you're keen on.

CONTEST ENTRIES: please put the name of the figure you are depicting in either the title or the description. It adds to everyone's enjoyment of your sets and makes judging contests much easier.
